La Piazza Bar and Restaurant
Recently opened in the main square of inland Rabat, La Piazza has immediately set out to become the mecca of patrons who wish to enjoy a hearty meal in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
A little removed from the tourist trail, La Piazza restaurant in Rabat offers all those dishes much loved by the Maltese: the perennial Pasta and Pizza favourites are there, along with the classic Rabbit stew. The other must-tries are the local delicacies Pastizzi (cheese or pea pastries) and Hobz biz-Zejt, Malta's completely addictive answer to Bruschetta: Maltese bread topped with fresh tomatoes and olive oil. Any of these dishes can be married with a select choice of wines or coffees.
On Sundays, La Piazza offers free traditional Maltese appetizers with any drinks purchased. The Restaurant is available upon request for special functions and occasions. Major sports events are also shown on Big Screen.
